This past week I thought I'd create a mandala a day for 7 days. Creating a mandala is a beautiful mindful exercise. I used round items in the kitchen to trace and make each circle. Then I got creative focusing only on the shapes and lines I was making. I decided to keep it simple by using only a black pen. Each mandala has a different feel to it. The top right is the first one that I did and that is the one with the least amount of interest. I think I was getting into the flow of the activity, after the first couple of days I felt myself get into the space of being mindful and in the moment. I encourage you to give it a try, I will definitely do it again.
