Mindfulness is an effective way to slow down, rest, and recover. A regular mindful practice has proven
to reduce anxiety,
improve sleep, & increase focus. When you include art in the mindful practice it helps keep youth engaged
and enjoy the process.
In this series youth will learn about mindfulness, explore calming breathing practices, and use
watercolour paints to create art mindfully.
Each week includes grounding practices and different art-based project to spark interest & excitement on
their mindful art journey.

Guardian/Youth Studio Session This workshop is about making space to playfully create and connect through art. In this hands-on-art experience participants will explore creative collaboration, self-expression, and communication through art in
a relaxed and supportive environment. No prior art experience is needed–just a willingness to try something new together. Date Coming Soon Age 10-15 & parent/guardian $60/duo, hst included |
Self Expression
six-week series Youth are challenged with supporting their emotional health on a daily basis resulting in increased rates of anxiety and overwhelm as well as reduced confidence and self esteem. Understanding our emotions is a key piece to calming intense feelings. Art-based expression provides an accessible outlet for self expression and care. This 6-week series uses art-based expression to provide youth with concrete ways to identify, care for, & express emotion in a relaxed & healing environment.
1 hour per week for 6 weeks Age 10-15 $210, hst included |
