Shapes, Lines, and Colour Age 9-12
July 11-14, 2023 9:30am-12:30pm ($125/person), Petite Riviere Firehall, Age 9-12 - WAITLIST July 18-21, 2023 9:30am-12:30pm ($125/person), Broad Cove Hall, Age 7-9 Our world is open to endless possibilities when we have shapes, lines, and colours to play with. Have fun as we settle into creative activities that will have us learning about ourselves, discovering a new kind of play, connecting with others, and reaching for our dreams. During the week, we will express our amazing creative selves, play with a variety of art materials, make art journals, and more. The experience is about having fun with art in a way that can support our emotional wellness rather than developing art techniques to make something beautiful. Participants will build self confidence, independence, and creative problem-solving skills. |
About Me: Engaging in creative play gets me excited about showing up as my best self, and helps me navigate difficult moments in life. With over 15 years experience working with youth, I am passionate about creating opportunities where they feel validated and supported while overcoming challenges in life and in becoming the person they want to be.
